Šumski sees his work as a galvanizer, a way to urge people on to their own fulfilment. At the same time, it is a process for him to examine his personal motives in creating. He chronicles the ways in which decisions are made by the use of protagonists dealing with the situations and issues of our daily lives. Dreamers and spirits, demons and mythological beasts appear with the intention to persuade people to believe in themselves and the power of their own dreams.
